Not just any veterinarian can treat exotic animals. In order to provide veterinary services for these unique pets, a veterinarian must undergo training beyond veterinary school and receive certification in exotic pet medicine. AniMed Animal Hospital veterinarians are certified in exotic pet medicine and can even provide services beyond basic medicine, such as acupuncture!
